The T.E.C. Incubator Center is designed to provide flexible, high-quality incubator space for new and emerging technology firms on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin. T.E.C. stands for Technology, Education and Commerce. The main goal for the T.E.C. Incubator Center is to bring these three elements together in an environment that offers new companies enhanced opportunities to become established and grow within the Madison area. The T.E.C. Incubator Center provides high quality incubator space for up to 20 new and emerging technology-focused businesses. Business support services for incubator tenants are provided through the MGE Center for Entrepreneurs, a shared office outpost for public business development organizations such as the Small Business Development Center, Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation and Madison Development Corporation. The MGE Center for Entrepreneurs has been established to provide a one-stop shop and onsite assistance for T.E.C. Incubator Center tenants and other area businesses. In addition to the MGE Center for Entrepreneurs, Madison Area Technical College's (MATC) Business, Industry and Community Services and MATC's Business Procurement Assistance Center are also housed in the T.E.C. Incubator Center and available as resources to tenants. Business, Industry and Community Services offer customized training opportunities to businesses. The Business Procurement Assistance Center helps Wisconsin businesses identify, apply, and successfully compete for government contract opportunities. For more information about the T.E.C.
